"Anything Goes" at the GALLERY On SPRING STREET

The GALLERY on SPRING STREET, Newton  burst with color and form at the opening of the "Anything Goes"- Artist's Choice exhibit April 3rd.
On exhibit are original Oil paintings, pastel paintings, photography,  jewlery and sculptures selected by the artists themselves and available for exhibit and purchase.

Two paintings from the "Transformations" collection of Sussex County resident/artist N Hreha are exhibited in the collection. "Transformation 2" (pictured below) is a mixed medium interpretation of spiritual growth. Spiritual journey is represented through the balance of light elements and by the power of water-symbolizing the energy and power of change.

"Transformations 3"
This oil painting interprets the Transformation through the power of air and light and speaks to the constantly changing landscape of natural life. The artist presents a view of natural elements in motion and the potential for beauty that lies hidden in surrendering to change.

The"Transformation" series of paintings  presented by N. Hreha, was inspired by years of studying and observing nature. Connecting with the balance of nature has been a source of inspiration throughout her own life's transformations-from young bride, full time mom to empty nester/business owner.

" While some see change as loss, I am inspired to view change as merely transformation-an essential component to life" she states, "Transformation occurs all around us every moment, nothing is static and unchanging in our universe. Transformations are vidid-and sometimes are only visible over a period of time-but nothing is static. Embracing this reality is key to embracing the Transformations that come to our lives and finding happiness in them. It is empowering."

The Transformation collection features several other paintings by the artist, "Selah" was most recently exhibited at  The GALLERY on SPRING STREET in the ELEMENTALS exhibit:

"Selah" -a Hebrew term of various interpretation-evokes a pause for contemplation, an uplifting, a time to ponder.
Selah “ depicts  life’s transformation in the predefined moments of transition-a time to ponder and weigh life’s choices and one’s destiny-to carry forward elements of life and hope from a soon unrecognizable past.
