Farmers and Business join hands to create a "Giving Tree"

Local farmers from the Sussex County Board of Agriculture have joined hands with Dandelion Creative, LLC -creating a “Giving Tree”- to be auctioned at the
 SCF&HS Foundation Festival of Trees benefit.
The November 14th auction at Sussex County Fairgrounds CONSERVATORY
is open to the public and promises to be a celebration of community and holiday spirit.

In keeping with the spirit of the holidays, “The Giving Tree” is adorned with offerings redeemable for products at Sussex County farms.  Local producers and growers have generously contributed to the effort with certificates for meat products, produce, plants, holiday décor and more- including a live tree and holiday wreath certificate.

The successful bidder will have the opportunity to re-donate the “Giving Tree” to a family in need through the cooperation of Project Self Sufficiency-a local organization working for the benefit of Sussex County Families in transition.

The SCBOA/Dandelion Creative  “Giving Tree”  is one of many beautifully decorated, artificial table top trees being offered at auction for this fundraiser.  Doors open at 6:30pm and the auction begins at 7:30. Preview begins at 3pm.

 Dandelion Creative initiated the “Giving Tree” project with the hope of bringing this community event full circle- raising money for the SCF&HS Foundation, showcasing local Agriculture, and inspiring a spirit of generosity that will touch a family in need this holiday season.
