God bless the hands that till the soil-the brow that's wet with labor's toil. The eyes the see next season's yield-as they scan across the barren field. Bless those who labor through heat and cold-reward them Lord, the young and old. To our young farmers grant courage, the strength of heart and skill to preserve the tradition of harvest and till. Give peace to those with backs now slightly bent. Sweetly reward them for a life well spent. Smooth the lines that traced seasons across skin slightly leathered- Bless these vessels of nature's wisdom - their value can't be measured. Help them to pass on all that they know- About caring for the land and making crops grow. As my family will gather for a bounteous feast,Lord, please bless the farmers-from west to east. Their heart's true desire is both simple and grand- "To strengthen our nation with the fruits of our land". Grant them prosperity and health- fill their hearts with quite pride- In barn, home or field Lord, be ever at their side.
