Art Lovers Come Out

The Sussex County Arts and Heritage Council proudly prepares for the January 16th opening of their latest exhibit:  PEOPLE

The PEOPLE exhibit runs from January 16th through February 13th. It is called a celebration of our commonality and individuality. The wonderful work of Rob Yaskovic will be featured in addition to the work of other local talent.

Yascovic will be showcasing his work documenting the NJ State Fair, which he has done for the last 3 years. Owner of Yaskovic Wedding + Portrait, has been a professional photographer for over eight years with work appearing in The New Jersey Herald, The Daily Record, The New York Times, Food Network TV Magazine, Relevant Times Magazine, and The Milford Journal. Past clients include New Era Cap Company, The New Jersey State Fair, Sparta Cancer Center, Iliff-Ruggerio Funeral Home, and various non profits including Project Self Sufficiency and Birth Haven. The image below is one of many scenes caught by Yascovic at the NJ State Fair.

The SCA&H promotes and preserves art in Sussex County through featured exhibits, regranting and events. Recently, funding for the arts was frozen, placing the future of this organization-and all the benefit it brings to residents, resident artists and art itself- in peril. Dedicated passion for the organization and its mission have persisted- culminating in this wonderful exhibit that celebrates PEOPLE.

The SCA&H gallery is located at 133 Spring Street Newton and is open to the public Tuesday through Friday 10-3pm and on Saturdays from noon to 4pm.
The Gallery is home to a wide array of beautiful art,  submitted by SCA&H members which is available for your enjoyment, inspiration and purchase.

Don't miss this special exhibit and the opportunity to celebrate PEOPLE...
